CRAFT

The cottage is clad entirely with cedar.

You’ll find appreciation for craft everywhere you look, from the Myrtle heartwood floors, Huon pine kitchen, hand-split post and rail fences; to the hand-printed cushion and yukata robe fabrics.

This might be the bush, but we live in a connected world.

Enjoy robust WIFI, smart-lock entry, USB charging, BOSE Bluetooth speaker and smart TV with complimentary streaming.

SUSTAINABLE

Our ethos is to provide premium accommodation that is personalised, inclusive and sustainable.

The space is unique and furnished with antique, vintage and up-cycled finds.

We support local businesses and give back to our community through volunteering, sponsorship and donating.

FULL KITCHEN

You’re free to cook up a storm in the chef’s kitchen.

Think of it as your kitchen away from home.

We’re self-catered, but we supply some goodies to get you started like fresh milk and farmhouse butter, premium Tassie loose leaf teas, micro-roasted coffee beans and couverture hot chocolate.

Don’t feel like cooking?

We can arrange a delicious Tassie tasting platter for you.

ECO TOILETRIES

We supply ethical and 100% natural toiletries from Milie Organics, a premium Tasmanian eco-skincare company.

Ingredients are organic and primarily sourced from Tasmania.

We use refillable containers in place of single-use plastics, and provide cotton face cloths for make up removal.

LUXE COMFORT

Luxuriate in sustainable French flax linen from the impossibly chic Carlotta and G.

Dry off with Fairtrade organic cotton bath sheets.

Curl up with soft woollen throw rugs and an intriguing book from our guest library.

We provide cotton yukata robes in summer, snuggly spa robes in winter, and biodegradable slippers all year-round.

Dual programmable electric blankets, goose down doonas and woollen underlays will keep you warm all night.

LITTLE EXTRAS

It’s all in the details.

Delight in small joys like flowers, homemade jam, vintage picnic basket, guest library featuring contemporary Tassie authors, original local artwork, an acoustic guitar, and gloriously expansive views over the mountains and valley.
