The cottage is hand-built and clad with Western red cedar shingles and shakes.
You’ll find appreciation for craft everywhere you look, from the Myrtle heartwood floors, Huon pine bench tops, hand-crafted tables, hand-split post and rail fences; to the hand-printed cushion and yukata robe fabrics.
This might be the bush, but we live in a connected world.
Enjoy robust WIFI, keyless entry, hardwired USB charging, a portable BOSE speaker and smart TV with complimentary streaming channels.

We aim to provide premium accommodation that’s personalised, inclusive and sustainable.
We’re not an IKEA showroom. The cottage is furnished with antique, vintage, handmade and up-cycled finds.
We support local, small business and give back to our community through volunteering, sponsorship and donations.

Cook up a storm in the full kitchen or embrace the elements and use open fire.
We supply wood, cast iron cookware, leather fire gloves and quality tools.

We provide premium Tassie goodies like Ashgrove milk and farmhouse butter, selection of Art of Tea loose leaf teas, Leaping Goat micro-roasted coffee beans and Coal River Farm couverture hot chocolate.
If you don’t feel like cooking, let us arrange a delicious Tassie tasting platter for you.
ECO TOILETRIES
We supply ethical, 100% natural toiletries from Tasmanian eco-skincare company Milie Organics.
Little ones can lather up with safe castile baby wash.
Ingredients are organic, gentle, vegan and cruelty free.
We use refillable containers in place of single-use plastics, and provide cotton face cloths for make up removal.
Our eco cleaning products are free from strong scents and harsh chemicals.
LUXE COMFORT
Luxuriate in sustainable French flax linen from the impossibly chic Carlotta and Gee.
Dry off with fluffy organic cotton bath sheets.
Curl up with pure wool blankets and an intriguing book from the guest library.
